Default Gas Tank Q's

I got a new used tank for my 95 Blazer, Is there any thing I need to watch out for when I swap. The new tank has what looks to be 2 black plastic vent lines or somethin, both of witch are broken. Can I use the pieces off my old tank? Also when I'm down there, I'm replacing the Fuel filter as well. Do I have to purge the lines or anything when I'm done?

Thanks
Jason

Thanks for all the help guys. I guess I'll be the first to change a fuel tank on these things.

Relax buddy, maybe you are.

Anyway, I just changed my fuel filter, and when I did I filled the new one with fuel and reved it about 2000 rpms to 'bridge the gap' where there was air. Worked fine for me.

A little advice for anybody that wants to change their own tanks, watch out for a release in fuel pressure.

The old tank is out, pain in the butt. new tank goes in tomorrow
