Default HELP PLEASE : Keep blowing radio fuse

Any idea why this would keep blowing??
I disconnected the radio and with nothing hooked up if i turn the key on the fuse will blow.
May have to run a new wire.
Need to find out how to get the fuse block out to Change it.
Any instructions for this would be helpfull.

if its a aftermarket sterio it may be a bare wire rubin on sumthing. but stock or aftermarket i would trace all the wires and make sure there are no bare or broken wires good place to start anyway. hope that helps some anyway

Yes, definitely has to be a short somewhere in the main radio (+) power wire.

Have you (or anyone) ever had the dash apart? If it has been apart, it is possible that someone has either pinched a wire or put a screw through the harness.

Yeah i have had it apart put a heater core in it.
Had the bottom where the harness runs apart yesterday does'nt look like it's pinched anywhere.
Runs up behind the bezel and over the hood release latch then over the top of the fuse block to the back.
Want to run a new wire but dont know what problems i am going to run into pulling the fuse block off its mount to get to the back of it.
Never had one off so dont know how things are plugged in especially the wires coming in from the engine compartment.
Any one ever do this ,can't seem to find any info on it.
I have the wiring diagram but that gives you how they run and colors but not how they hook up .
And nothing in the haynes manual to show the back of the fuse block or even how it mounts.

you could try making a dummy wire just a wire the same guage as the radio wire put an inline fuse in the wire the same as the radio 10 amp or whatever pull the radio fuse put in the new wire and see if it blows the fuse if not then its in the harness if so then its in the block try it and see what happens
