Default I am stuck....fuel problem??

2 days ago i was driving in oakland when all of a sudden the car lost power and shut off. I pulled off the side of the road and tried to start it back up. after about 10 minutes the battery went dead. i figured this was comming cause i knew that I needed to replace it soon. anyway i got it back home. Replaced battery, I get spark, wires good, distributor and roter good, i get arch but still no start

I wanted to check the fuel so the first thing i did was try to start it up. I stopped and imediatly took out the spark plugs, No fuel on it. so I figured it was the fuel filter. Replaced that and tried to start. no go again. took the plugs out and this time fuel was getting to it.

when i turn the key i hear the fuel pump come on. also starter fluid work for few seconds. have not checked fuel pressure cause i have not got fuel pressure gadge off hand. I think it is fuel pump but not sure what to do next.

please help!!!!!! thanks == 98 chevy blazer, 2wd, 4.3 liter

Buy or rent a fuel pressure tester. You need to have 55-60psi (IIRC) fuel pressure to start and run.
