Default Morning starting problem...

This has been going on for a while now, now that its getting cold. What happens is I go to start... CRANK CRANK CRANK CRANK CRANK, boom, stall, CRANK CRANK CRANK CRANK, boom, almost stall... gets going then. I didn't really think it was a big deal because it drives great, but snow is comming and its prolly just gonna get worse. It got a new dist. cap, plugs, wires, etc. when it was rebuilt. Any other suggestions? Also, it doesn't stall everytime on the first start up, but wants to. Thanks in advance.

Check the fuel pump pressure, coolant temp sensor and throttle position sensor

my '88 with the 2.8 and 5-speed had similar starting problems when cold. the guy i gave the engine to when the truck was parted out said that replacing the fuel injector fixed the problem.

Had a 3.1 Throttle body with simular issue.

Cleaned out the bowls and injectors (due to the second one seemed not to be spraying right)
And that fixed that.

But if I were you I would do that (if its TB) and check the TPS (throttle Possision Sensor) also
