Was going through my RPO codes and was wondering what exactly was meant by Gas, 6 cyl, 4.3L, CPI, V6, 90 Deg, HO the RPO code is L35 I understand basically Everything as far as gas, 6 cyl 4.3L CPI and V6 and HO. Just not sure about the 90 Deg. Will probably have more as I search through everything on my vehicle Just the 90 Deg has be curious as to what exactly that is.

Also Curious about this one. Z85 Says Z85 33656 P CHP R Chassis Package Increase Capacity 911114ETT

90 degree is the angle which the V in the V6 forms. The 4.3L is a 90 degree v6. The 2.8L is a 60 degree v6, which is narrower and why the bellhousings on the 2.8L is different.

As far as the rest of them... Well, there are several RPO decoders that have been posted about before. Try searching for them.

 

Went through the RPO last night. Pretty much decoded all of em. Just wasn't sure what was meant by the second RPO Code the Z85. The description is a bit vague as to what exactly it means. OR atleast I'm thinking it is a touch vague Thanks for the info on the motor.

 

Z85 is the heavy-duty trailering suspension which basically is just higher rate rear springs from what I understand.

 

Alright. I need new rear leafs anyway. Off roading once and made start flatten out. where is a good place to get replacement leafs at?

 

Don't know about down near you, but near me, I have Thruway Spring which will custom make a set of springs for any application to whatever specs you want them to be at. Their leaf springs are only a bit more expensive than buying replacements from the dealership.

 

I have a place near me that does the same They wanted like 150 or something like that for just one side plus labor if I remember correctly.
