Ok, I'll do some looking around for you, but I had to do some serious digging to find out what you're driving...
For everyone elses benefit, he's driving a '99 Blazer, assuming auto, but don't know whether it's 4x4 or not, nor if it is 4 or 2 door or the trim level.
Please include this information either in your signature (preferred) or atleast in your profile where we can see it quickly so we don't steer you in the wrong direction or waste time trying to figure out what it is that you are driving.

Ignition switch.
Mine did the same thing. Till one day I couldn't start my truck, the security light was on. Called the dealer, he said wait 10-15 minutes and try again. Sure enough it worked. I drove it to the dealer and they replaced my ignigtion switch free of charge. Gotta love warrenties.

My truck has done the same thing about 4-5 times since I bought it almost 2 years ago...someday all of a sudden it just does not wanna start at all...at about the 4th time I was advised that if the security light is on to just leave it be for like 10 minutes and then it will start right back up again like a champ...only problem here is that it did this on saturday while driving...out of clues...
