shifter hard to move
Hello to everyone! Can someone shed some light on why my 95 blazer is so hard to get from park to drive? Literally have to pull on column stick with both hands. And it wont go fully into park. About to put my fist through the dashboard.
Got my fingers crossed.

yeah know this might help or might not, i had a problem with my jimmy kinda like that an it turned out my ebrake was working right so all the stress was on the transmission making it hard to put in reverse or drive..i dont know, just an idea
Maybe there is trouble with the linkage. Something must be binding the cable.
Disconnect the linkage to the tranny. It is located on the drivers side along the tranny pan. Then try to shift it. (Key on engine off.) Hopefully it'll be somewheres between the shifter and the end of the shift cable. Not in the tranny itself.
