Default tranny again?

i just got a 700r4 rebuilt and installed, i blew the reaction sun gear and had a new torque conv. installed. so first mile away from aamco i notice a slight flutter when shifting out of first, but i figure its gotta break in and everything else moved smooth. plus the truck is coasting and acclerating when coasting, which it never did since i bought it 3 yrs ago. but now; a few days later, everytime the engine is cold it feels worse. this is what im experiencing: on cold starts i really gotta push down on the accelerator to get moving, but the pedal feels stiff and hard to press. as if im pulling a trailor; plus i think i hear a slight dragging hum or noise. also its hard shifting out of first and has trouble downshifting out of any gear. im afraid to push it yet. now once it gets moving (2nd & up) it will fly and coast down the road like never before and come to a smooth stop when needed. the hard shifting doesn't happen as bad when it heats up, but if i drive for longer periods it seems to worsen. plus it doesnt feel like it goes into park fully. does this all sound like something simple as linkage or did they f' it up. or could there be some sort of mechanical/engine failure that could effect it. they claim it takes a week or too for all the bands and seals to set and that i should bring the truck in for them to do a free checkup. and it is warranted but i dont want to have to rely on that. i need some educated advice if it continues after i bring it back.

oh and kyle i know i should have just swapped reman's but i have a procrastination problem.

If it was me, I'd be back to the tranny shop right away.
Take it back!
I had a rebuilt 700r4 put in my black Blazer 18 months ago and there was NO break in period. It worked properly as soon as it was done, and still does.

Sound advice

If it was not working right from the first 10 feet from the shop, I would had taken it back.
Trany replacements should be on the ball from install (with fluid fill that is).
