how can i tell what kind of diffs i have in my truck front and back.

if its stock, look in your glovebox and there will be a chart on RPO codes---that tells you all of the options on the truck. as for what codes are what, you'll have to give me a few minutes to find them [8D]


edit---ok well im lacking in the effort department tonight so once you get all your codes, click this LINK and punch the codes into all the little boxes and you will see ALL of the options on your truck [sm=proof.gif]

thank you can't check the truck right know but i will look at it tomorrow do you know if i can put lockers on the truck the website i was looking at said i could it said it fits every gm truck and suv. i was looking at the eaton elocker but someone on another website said i could not.

I TYPED IN ALL THE CODES BUT IT DOES NOT SAY WHAT KIND OF DIFFS I HAVE

Try one at a time. I typed "g80" and got a result.

Try keeping all of your thoughts on a certain topic in one thread. You have another thread asking about locking diffs. Hmm... Sounds aweful similar. Keep them together.

As far as what kind of diff you currently have. Open in the front and either open or limited slip if you have G80. The sizes have been discussed already and the search function is your friend.
