Default Valves

This may be a dumb question, could someone tell me what a TPS Valve is and where it may be located on a blazer? The Haynes book that I ahve don't have a TPS Valve listed.

Default RE: Valves

There is no TPS valve. All of the locations I am listing are for '96 thru mid-year 2002 Vortec CSFI engines.

TPS = Throttle Position Sensor and is located on the driver's side of the throttle body on end of the throttle shaft.

There is an IAC valve where IAC == Idle Air Control and this is located on the back of the throttle body pointing out towards the driver's side.

There is also an EGR valve where EGR == Exhaust Gas Recirculation and it is located between the A/C compressor and the Alternator on the front of the motor and is about the size of a soda can with an electrical connection on the top of it.
