Default What type of key blank do I need?

Hello all, just wondering what type of key blank do I need, I have a 1998 LS and only have 1 working key for it, is this a transponder key? can I program it myself?
where can I get the blank and the instructions?

TIA

Default RE: What type of key blank do I need?

I think your best bet is going to be the dealership. It will have to be programmed and last time I had look at relearning the keys, the proceedure called for the Tech2 scan tool that the dealerships use to initiate the sequence. I'll check some more for you. It'll probably cost you close to $100 at a dealership...
