I need a new left front door for my 98 blazer. Hinges and all. Whats the best way to get a cheaper one of these? Junkyard? etc?

I'd definetly check at a local salvage yard, thats where i got a quartet panel for my brother's car. Doors are very common finds there.
Another suggestion would be to call an auto body shop and see if they have access to getting auto body parts like doors.
Also try a search in ebay, people are always parting out their cars and selling the peices on ebay. Check it out. Let me know if u get any luck. I'll look around and see if i find anything for u. Does the color matter? If not, u can always paint and prime it yourself.

If your local junkyard doesn't have one, they can find one and have it shipped out. The only problem is you don't know exactly what condition it's in if they have to find it from another source.

You just have to remember that the hinges are welded on. They are not bolted. So expect to have to drill/cut the welds to remove the inner hinge mount. Well, that is if you need the inner portion of the hinge mount.
But yeah, I would give your local junkyard a call and see if they have anything that fits the bill. Should be any s-series truck from '95 to current that will work, but verify before purchasing. Any good auto recycler should have a cross reference list available to let you know for sure.

does anyone here know for sure if a door prior to 98 model will fit my 98 blazer? I have been told no by certifit and they do not cary the 98. My body work guy thinks they will but the only thing he is concerned about is how the inside trip will fit.

I just want to know if a door prior to 1998 will fit on my 98 blazer. I am mostly concerned with the inside trim.
