Default is the fuel level sensor connected to the fuel pump

I have an 2005 chev trailblazer, been a great vehicle for my wife so far...had to do somethings to it,regular maint....But the fuel gauge has been acting up for a few weeks.I looked on rockauto and priced a fuel level sensor for 80...But then went on Autoparts123 and found what looks to be a fuel pump and maybe the fuel level sensor on it....but cant really tell....my thought would be change the level sensor go ahead and change the whole thing.....does anyone know if the sensor is connected as shown with two different fuel pumps on autoparts123.com....also the is what seems to be a flutter while driving and the low beams are on....anything to worry about.....its a 2005 chev trailblazer ls....4wd....short wheel base......thank you for any input please as is my wifes vehicle and the 2 kids.....looking to do the fuel pump myself....

Thank you for the response,im hopin to hear more before I go tearing into this...if you know what I mean....I would be assuming that it would be a 2nd gen....not really sure....I have looked at some fuel pumps and some of them look like it has it built on and some looks like they dont have it on there....but now Im seeing that airtex isnt a good brand....my luck huh.....

it looks to me like it is all one piece looking at it on autozone. the fuel sending unit is what controls the fuel gauge. link

i would buy an ac delco one tho not from autozon.

what I meant by 2nd gen is like my blazer the last body style before they started the trailblazers.
