Hey guys well I just welded up a flowmaster on my 2dr blazer 4.3 and well it sounds the same.i thought it would have a little more bark.have you guys had the same thing?i guess I'm used to true duals no cats on my silverado

It was one my brother had lying around off one of his forgotten projects 1 in 1 out.it was a weight reduction compared to that stock muffler so there's that.

 

some like the 44's 50's etc are fairly quiet. if you look at it you can see tack welds. if its like a diamond shape,with 2 small lines at the bottom its a 40.

 

I gotcha yea it's probably one of those 3 chamber mufflers or so something.i might have to do something else like punch cats or something.dont want to waste money on headers gonna do that with the l31 swap.its just nice to hear where my Rpms are without looking down this things real quiet
