Engine sounds different after putting rebuilt tranny in?

Engine sounds different after putting rebuilt tranny in?
I have a '97 Blazer 4x4 with the 4.3L and just had a rebuilt transmission put in. Now when I drive it the engine makes a slightly different sound...is this pretty usual for a having a new tranny put in?
