Default Engine sounds different after putting rebuilt tranny in?

I have a '97 Blazer 4x4 with the 4.3L and just had a rebuilt transmission put in. Now when I drive it the engine makes a slightly different sound...is this pretty usual for a having a new tranny put in?

not that I'm aware of? but I guess if for some reason the old trans was putting more or less load on the engine that could change the sound.
