Obviously the quickest way would be with a cutting torch, but since you don't have one, there are some other things you can use. A small grinder with a cut off wheel, or even a dremel and cut off disc and split the pipe with it. If you don't have either, you can use a hammer and chisel to split it.

Yeah, an air chisel is definitely a nice tool to have around. You can get them at places like Autozone or O'Reilly's. Autozone has a cheapie for 15 bucks or a better one that comes with more tools for 80 bucks. I don't know how well the cheapie will work, but for 15 bucks, it's worth a shot.

It should just come right off though, I don't get why not but it won't. Me and my friend Nick are going to go to his garage sometime and get it off. He has more tools than you can think of ever having haha.

What I would do is take it for a drive and then try and get it off, the heat may help it to slip out. Don't know how strong you are, I would get gloves on since it'll be hot then just grab the muffler and try to turn it to break it free. I haven't had problems pulling mufflers off before, only getting new ones put in. Without the proper tools, aligning pipes and mufflers to fit is a royal pain.

I drove it for 3 hours to visit my grandparents and then tried to see if it was a little bit more loose than it was before and nothing....

So I finally got over to my friend Nicks house, and after messing with it, we cut the back off, and got the front to slide off by pounding on it with a hammer and flat head screw driver while the other one of us pulled on it.

After finding out that the pipe up from the muffler is 2.5in and the back is 2in, I ended up just getting a 2.5in straight pipe out of the muffler to right in front of the rear axle. Its solid and looks better than it did before.

Its sounds a lot better too, and its a straight shot right out so I'm getting better flow, and less back pressure, which means more torque and power. Unfortunately, it also means that I have to give it a little extra something to keep it from slowing down on hills, but oh well.

I like the way that it sounds, it sounds pretty good for a 60 dollar exhaust, and its giving me more power on top of the sound that I want. I'll get pics of it up soon, but I did a quick video of it with my new camera.

I'll make some better ones soon! Let me know how you think it sounds! And PS: its a lot louder in person, my camera just can't hear it very well.

I like it, nice mellow sound not too loud but you know it's there when you step on it. I can't judge too much, i'm sure it sounds a lot better in person, it always does.

Yeah, it sounds awesome when you revv it up a bit at a stop sign, its got a real low pitch to it when your driving down the road too, I just wish it would throw the sound out a bit more. How can I get it to do that?
