Im thinking of doing an exaust for christmas because my stock muffler blew out so what i have is a 92 k1500 with a 350 i was planning on doing a single in/single out flowmaster 40 series. I have 3 inch pipe running from the catalytic back i was wondering if anyone has heard on of these or what it will soudn like with this exaust on.

 

Yes, I just sold a 1990 K1500 extended cab long bed that I had a 40 series with no cat and 3" from the y-pipe back...single inlet and dual outlet straight out the back with 3.5" stainless tips. It sounded great! If I get another one I'll do it exactly the same way.

 

How loud do you think an exhaust like this will be? Im looking for somethign that when i hit the gas pedal people will notice it

 

I don't have to think, like I said I had one.....Trust me you and they will hear it. But, if you want it REALLY REALLY loud, get two 40 series mufflers and a set of full-length headers...like on my Caprice.....you won't ever want anything louder than that set-up......... unless you don't drive it....lol.
