Default Cold Air intake

I have a 4.3L blazer and it has a off-brand cold air intake. i have had it for a year now and this is the first time its been giving a lean code. the MAF had to be replaced and now its showing the codes. i was wondering if i switch to a K&N or Spectra cold air intake if that would change it or if i just need to go back to stock.

I'd go back to stock & see if it fixes the problem. (if you still have the stock pieces)

Have you tried removing the maf sensor and cleaning it with maf sensor cleaner? It's a spray especially designed for the maf sensor so it won't damage it. It could've gotten dirty so it isn't properly measuring the air. It could also be oil from the filter if you have a oiled filter.
