Blaze decided the upgrade for me, lol
For quite a while i couldn't decide what upgrade to do next for my almost stock 99 blazer LT (2wd, 4dr), so i guess my blazer got impatient and decided for me!
I upgraded the catalytic converter a month or two back because of the classic 'vibration sound=busted' situation... i replaced it with a magnaflow hi-flow, and it solved the problem, and i think i may have gained a couple horsepower... at least from before!
now i just need to decide which Magnaflow (or Flowmaster, haven't completely decided) to install... i basically want to get the best v8 sound i can get, even though its the 4.3 v6. i also need to consider fuel economy, so any recommendations you guys have for me that gives the best v8 sound and doesnt hurt my fuel economy (preferably adds horsepower too ) will be greatly appreciated!!!
thanks for any help and/or recommendations!!!

IMO any straight through muffler "should" sound better, especially coupled with a 3" CAI. Lots of websites for the brands & youtube have vids so you can hear what they sound like. I wouldn't bother with a name brand CAI (unless it comes with a heatshield or you make up your own) as long as the filter is washable & they let you know if it's an oiled or dry filter.
If it's oiled pay close attention to how much oil you use! Too much & you'll be cleaning the MAF a few times more than needed because it'll get grimey & FUBAR.
