Couple Question
Im sorry if these question have been answered before.
I plan in March on getting a Flowmaster 40 welded in place of the stock muffler. I just wanted to know if:
A) I plan on running new pipping from the cat-back, what diameter is the best?
B) I would love dual tailpipes running straight out the back, i know they wouldnt be true duals but can it be done without removing my spare tire (can they run the pipes around it)?
C) If in fact they cant run the tailpipes without removing the spare tire, i'd plan to put it on my roofrack, is there a spare tire bracket or holder that can attach to the roofrack to prevent the spare from sliding around on my roof?
-Thanks

There is the 2.25 and the 2.50.. might get a little bit more of a rumble with the 2.50.. but some shops can't make the 2.50 work on the Blazer so they go with the 2.25.
B) I would love dual tailpipes running straight out the back, i know they wouldnt be true duals but can it be done without removing my spare tire (can they run the pipes around it)?
I was thinking about this as well, and after research and talking to some shops im pretty sure it can't be done properly without a lift on the truck.

You can always get those straps that hold it down, looks kinda ruggish too. Im sure if you look hard enough you can find something that will hold the tire.

RE: Couple Question
Thanks for the info, but i have infact seen a member's profile on here with his stock height blazer running dual tailpipes straight out the back. I wish i could remember his screename bit it escapes me now.
Couldn't they just run the tailpipe over the axle (like the stock tailpipe) and then split it off and run both pipes straight out the back, in theory?

RE: Couple Question
Did a little more research today for you while I was getting my exhaust done. It is possible to do duals, but you can not put it straight out the back so it looks centered. .. it has to be like the older novas where they are curved down or whatever else you choose.. you might be able to do it out the sides.. its cause of the gas tank being offcenter and a some other small things.. best thing to do is go talk to your shop and see what they say

RE: Couple Question
Yeah but thats just what he said and he showed me while it was up on the hoist. But it might be able to be done, just ask your shop.
