Default Exhaust manifold replacement..

I have an 03 4x4 and am wondering if anyone has replaced their header pipes themselves... i found a good set and want to buy them, the only problem is that after i buy them i will be broke and would rather install them myself than having to wait to pay someone else. what will i need tool wise to remove, i think i will at least have to weld some piping back together but am not sure.. Help me please!!

Default

With headers, you will typically have to rework the y-pipe.

As far as tools required to remove the exhaust manifolds and install headers, a good socket set and some wrenches should be all that is required, but I am not sure how the EGR system works on the mid-02+ engines...
