Does anybody know the size of muffler i would need for a 2000 blazer 4 door? Talking about the angles an size of hole in and out? any help greatly appreciated.

youll need the front flange out of the dynomax kit the part that bolts to the cat(IntermediatePipe), and then 2.5" inlet and i think its roughly 20" long glasspack. and you should have to have a offset inlet/outlet. and a stock tail pipe. that should work for ya.

DO i need the front flange? An what the offset of the inlet /outlet

you would most likely need that front flange. check to see how your stock muffler comes off the cat. on my 95 i had 3 bolts that bolt to the cat. page 139 http://www.dynomax.com/ecat/pdfs/truckcat.pdfyou can get the dynomax part number for your flange i was talkin about. and i think just a straight glass pack would work just fine. but on that page you can get a cat back system that you can get different mufflers for it has that part numbers under it.

thats the one. i would get it at napa instead of ebay that way you dont have to pay shipping.

I didnt need to buy the flange, just cut right after it, welded an adapter on, and fit my muffler into it. it worked out fine, and the glasspack sounds pretty good on the blazer.

i went to the man mall (aka Fleet Farm) and picked up a cherry bomb glass pack. I also got 2 2.5in pipe and 2 c clamps. I plan on putting this on tom. in shop class. Ill let you guys know how it went, i hope i got everthing that i need. [:@]

good luck man. i should sound really good once it is done. i wish i would have gone that route when i did my exhaust.

Yeah im looking forward to a good rumble. MY dads all worried that im gonna do somethin irreversible. LOL the muffler ended up being about 29 in and a hair to short.
