no that is not stock. thats why im wondering how you're going to connect it to your intake. that piece was with the k&n intake. before it was corrugated plastic.

as long as your maf sensor can be mounted securely. and you have a spot for the iat. and on the back of where the tubing connects to the throttle body there is a spot for the crankcase vent hose. also to even make any use out of cai you're gonna need to fab a heat shield. i say your easiest bet would be to buy a spectre sysem and make your own heatshield. (im not afflilated with them) there basically the same thing as k&n. i'd recommend k&n but they cost 300 for a blazer. i got mine off a craigslist for 100. (hey just for kicks see if someones selling one) as long as you got the time, patience, and the machinery and skills you can make one out of what you got.

as far as making a difference the tubing on my K&n has a larger diameter pipe then stock. you get better airflow and mpg according to them. heat shields gonna make the biggest difference

if you want me to ill post a pic of mine, ive got the chrome pipe so it might help. you will have to buy some more couplings to make this work but it can be done. especially if it was just given to you, whatve you got to lose, if it fails buy one off ebay. i got the pipe, couplings, and a k&n for 80.

I was going to do it, but i posted the cai on craigslist for 120 and i got 100 for it, I'll take 100 bucks over 3-5 hp anyday.

Its my daily driver anyway.

But thanks for all the info. If i find another cai for cheap i might just have to try that little project out.

And again thanks everyone
