are there any aftermarket intakes for a 03 4.3 all ive been able to find are the plastic oem ones and im tring to get away from that

anyone?

The reason is the fuel injection setup... Any aftermarket intake would have to basically be designed in the exact same way as the factory original.

What are you looking to do that would require a stronger intake? Or are you just looking for more performance by changing it out?

ya i was looking for performance and also if im still wanting to do a procharger and im not sure how all it would hold up to all that pressure but ive been talking to some other guys and maybe boost aint the way to go so who knows lol

We have atleast 2 members running boost. One with a ProCharger and another with a custom rear-mount turbo @ 8psi. Both are running the stock upper plenum.
