i just bought a k&n intake for my truck and im reading the instructions and it says this kit is not designed for vehicles with body lifts. im planning on putting a 2 in body lift in it soon that i bought already can i still put the lift kit in with the intake cause i know others have done this already what do i need to do to make this work

With the K&N kit there is usually the heat separator that will need to be modified. Not a big deal as you just need to elongate the hole down 2". Filling in the upper 2" is optional.

the heat shield is connected to the core support so after you install the body lift the hole will have to be elongated down 2" as AJBert said in the previous post.
