Default JBA Cat4ward Headers ( JBA-1842S-3)

Did a little research on air injection manifolds, but curious to find out whether or not mine has them. How do I go about this? What should I look for?

The headers that "Fit(s) models without air injection manifolds" are $465.95.

The headers that "Fit(s) models with air injection manifolds" are $509.95.

Also it seems the ceramic coated headers are more expensive than natural 409 Stainless. Is the price increase worth it for DD use?

This is all preliminary research of course, but it's nice to have a starting point for costs...

Check your RPO code list to see if you hate hte AIR system... Look for RPO code K18. If you want to look for it, if you pull off the front skid plate, the air pump is located under the radiator along the inside of the passenger frame rail.

As far as ceramic vs natural 409SS, I'd go with ceramic coating if you've got the extra coin. The ceramic coating will not discolor over time like the stainless will. Underhood temperatures will also be reduced with ceramic coated headers. Performance will be practically identical.
