Default K&N Intake

I just picked up my Blazer and the guy gave me a K&N intake, looks like filter and tubing to connect it to the tb. I searched a bit but didn't find anything on gas milege with an intake. Does anyone have any experiences with this on how it would affect milege?

It shouldnt effect you at all, but if it does I would imagine you would lessen your MPG.

If anything it will make it worse. With the noise that you gain from it you will want to hear it.

look i have ran the FIPK on 2 different vehicles... did not make anything worse.... maybe 1-2mpg better if you drive like a sane person. however, you will be wanting to hear it suck the first week or so and will drive like a madman and get terrible mpg.... believe me, i know from experience.... however, it will not make your gas mileage any worse under normal driving....
