I really just want some info on my exhaust. my cat is clogged but since i have a 94 i want to just get rid of the cat and replace it with a magna flow resonator. since i know my 4.3 is kind of dependent on back pressure i want that instead of a straight pipe. so my question is to do this with the stock exhaust i have what size do i need and do i need to weld it or just clamp it on. what length do i need. basically if i was to do this tomorrow by myself what are the steps and what do i need. if anyone can help i would appreciate it.

 

first off , what you propose is illegal
second if the vehicle gets emission tested it will fail

spend the money and replace the cat
