Ok, are there any good decently priced longtube headers on the market for these trucks? 01 Blazer 2WD 4dr.
New to V motors so know nothing of performance upgrades for them. Thanks in advance!

No decent headers for them out there. I wouldn't bother trying, using the factory fuel injection system and computer. What would you expect? 5HP over stock for $800 exhaust?

These are torquey V-6s with decent power that run 2000RPM at nearly 70mph. They do not respond well to typical aftermarket add-ons and old-school modifications.

Best minor mod would be to change to the Express Van camshaft and use corresponding PCM flash. A lot of work and expense for 10-20HP (if I remember correctly). More advanced Vortec V6 afficanados have used the marine intake to allow bigger fuel injectors.

My advice... go find a late 90's V8 Vortec donor pickup and do the V8 conversion, or leave it alone.
