I'm getting a new exhaust system on friday and i don't know which muffler to get. I've been looking at the Flowmaster Super 44 but the guy at the shop said he just got done putting them on a Charger SRT8 and he said they didnt sound that great. He said magnaflow would be a better choice for the 4.3 V6. I dont know what to get and I would appreciate any help you guys could give me on deciding which is a better muffler.

 

i just put on a dynomax catback on. came with the super turbo muffler. its not super loud but it has a nice tone to it.

 

I dont know how the Super 40's sound however this thread has a movie with the FM 40 series. Sounds very nice. I will be putting a magnaflow hi-flow cat and Dynomax cat back exhaust on sometime this summer. If I want a little more than the super turbo it comes with I will be doing the FM 40.

 

I have a 40 with no pipe after it and its pretty loud and sounds nice like a v8 BUT after 3k rpms it sounds like a 6
