Hey Guys! dont worry im not going to ask what size the muffler is, i know how to use the search button lol

I just ordered this muffler from magnaflow last night

http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...e=main&id=8918

what you think? will it work well on a 2005 Jimmy 4x4 2 door?
Any advice on the install? im hoping to be able to do it myself

Thanks Again

Well, I hate to be the one to say this, but you should have gone a size bigger to 2.5" inlet. But you can still make that work with a 2.5 to 2.25 reducer on the inlet. Just make sure to weld it, not clamp it

I can't really add anything to what Phil said. I had a shop install mine and go to 2.5" pipe all the way so I'm not sure what the stock pipe diameter was.

I think you'll be happy with the Magnaflow though. Here's mine...

haha thanks! i used your video on youtube to pic magnaflow.... so you guys think it will work with an less "performance/sound" with me having to convert it from 2.5 at the cat to 2.25 before the muffler...

Main reason i ordered the muffler is because i recently bought a kn cold air intake and wanted it sound nice and possible have better flow

Thanks again guys for all the input.. it really helps figuring these things out before game day
