Performance exhaust system:
Just installed Patriot 60" side pipes, true duals, XX XXX. I had the computer re-programmed so it does not see the rear o2 sensor since it is not there. By the way, I drive a '98 blazer and it sounds great.

No muffler, no pipe.
I cut the muffler off with a torch and it sounds good but its loud as hell inside with no pipe going out to the rear of the vehicle, its just cut off below the passenger seat. I plan to either put on a Thrush Welded or just run pipe out to the back with no muffler.

Ok so my brother cut the exhaust of his 97 blazer then sold it to me after taking ownership it started acting up while driving so i parked it an when i went to start it gave me trouble but finally started but had no power when i hit the gas didn't move from any gear so i changened the oi an tranny fluid just to find a leak in my transmision pan so i picked up a tranny pan gasket (haven't installed yet)changed oil and filter and new plugs and wires new starter (cause it wanted to strip out at the same time) and when i reconnected every thing it started backfiring repeatedly so i picked up new distributor, new distributor rotor, new battery, new belt and had a broken elbow on my pcv so replaced pcv and elbow but it still backfires but stops for few minutes if i open throttle all the way ANY IDEAS I'M ON EDGE JUST SANK BOUT 1500 IN PARTS AN STILL ON JACK STANDS
