Questions about "free flowing" exhaust systems

it was just too tight of a fit so i took it out. isnt that why the made roof racks?

nope its not too tight of a fit. there just lazy! and when u put that tire up there thats more drag on ur truck so less mpg! look at mine

As far as the spares go, why not get one of those spare tire mounts on the back? I've seen them on 2 door ZR2 Blazers, wouldn't it work on any Blazer? If I could find one i'd get one. Well not me, my friend would since it's his truck.

the prob with that is now u have a 31x10.50x15 blocking ur back glass uck!

Or depending on how the driver side rear intorior pannel looks on a 4 door, you could look into doing the inside mounted spare tire. Or just tie it down with the hooks in the cargo area?

meh then u loose cargo area thats the prob. just do the job right in the first place and the prob is avoided

well my tire would fit it was just to close for me and if i wanted to look like everyone else and have my pipes come out at the corners then i would of but that is how i wanted my pipes run. thanks for ur opinions though

I agree. I am getting spare tire mounts on the back. I think this will work in Blazer. You can get it in Ebay.

K&N in the air box
and a Flow Master
love the sound
and it did increase my mpg
also the platium AC plucs also helped
but how about that dam #1 plug
it was a MF to get out and the new one in

You don't even know about pains getting spark plugs out, until you've done it on a transverse mounted V6 or V8 and the intake manifold blocks the rear bank, that'll make you want to punch a baby.

Anywho, in the next couple weeks we'll get the exhaust done and i'll get a vid of it, I can't wait to hear it.
