Default Searched the forum but....

I have an 00 blazer with the vortec 4.3...

Would the 2114 Edelbrock IM be any good to me for just direct replacement or is that only meant for serious upgrades such as turbos and other massive upgrades?

Jw if it would be worth my time for a direct replacement...or what this lower intake is specified for?

Thanks,
Charlie

Planning on going carb'd? You won't be able to use any of your current fuel injection system with that manifold. You will have to mod the heck out of the truck to make it happy with a carb. And it might be illegal in your state to do such a modification...

Oh...yeah not planning on doin any major engine work or crazy build... I'm on a college kid budget haha. Just trying to make it breathe better and get a few more hp out of it.

I'm thinkin I might go with an ebay intake and ported TB from CFM. Anyone have experience with the TB?
