I assume you are talking about ram air which has no benefit for a street car. Best you can do is to get air as close to ambient (outside) temp as possible. A 'ram' air setup will do this, but you will see no appreciable performance increase from having a scoop out in the wind aside from the cooler air.

I think short ram intakes are for cars. My brother has an AEM short ram intake on his Saturn SL2 and it sounds awesome, but I was looking at them for Blazers and there were none.
