Default Split or single?

I'm gonna have a new tip welded on soon cuz my stanless tip is scratched really bad.... What do you think is the better tip? Split tip, or single tip? I have a single tip, but apparentlysome people think that a split tip evens out the sound a little better... what do you think?

imo i think that split tips are somewhat tacky looking. no disrespect to anyone with them, it might look good, but generally i dont like the look. if it does sound better i had no clue.

My tacky twin tip:
Whatever small difference it makes in the sound is probably only noticed by the owner who is familiar with the way it sounded before the addition. In my case it makes a slightlyfuller note and is more audible above 1700 rpm.

mine only makes an even pitch between 2400-3000 RPMs and I want to bring the pitch down to 2000RPMs like it was before I had new pipe put on.

I dont know how much of a difference in sound the tip is going to make, but I really like the look of dual rolled tip ovals similar to a c-6 vette.

I like both. Usually I like dual tip on cars and single 12" slash cut tips on trucks, but I really like riddle's tip and someone else just got a magnaflow system and it looks good. The only way a tip is going to make it louder is if it is a resonating tip.

Riddle: What is brand and model is that tip? Whered you buy it?

It came off a C6'Vette. The exhaust guy I use took it from one that was having a new system put on so he let me have it for $40. The thumbnail doesn't blow up big enough. Go to my photo gallery and the pic will expand for a good look. I polished the stainless after the picture was taken.
And THANKS for the compliment!
