Default Stacks on Blazer?

Hey guys, I've always loved stacks on trucks and stuff, but I don't have a legitimate truck, but I want stacks.

So....

Ideas on how to toss stacks on a Blazer and how ridiculous it would look?

I was thinking it could be done one of two ways...

First, 4-5" stacks ran up through the floor and out the roof with 8-9" insulating tubes.

Second, the stacks ran up from in front of the rear wheels and up by the rear doors blocking them off.

So yeah, what're your guys' opinions on this?

Yea I wouldnt put it on a gas truck or either a blazer

I was going to do a dual exhuast with a flowmasters 40 in my truck

with 4 inch tips at the ends In 45 degree angles

they would look like stacks and sound like them but they just dont go up

edit: this is what my blazers going to sound like with that setup

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K9lps...eature=related

just mine are going to come out in 45 degree angles behind the rear tires

Yeah, if you had a pickup then stacks wouldn't be too bad (albeit that's a diesel thing, not a gas thing) but it would look awful on an SUV I think.

Now, if you really want to do something like that, you could look into side pipes like the old school 'Vettes had. That may not look too awful.

i agree with them! if you want stacks, either get a diesel truck and put em on or good 5" tips on regular exhaust would work for a SUV. they are just not meant for stacks. i love stacks but wont put ne on till i get a diesel.

honestly i think the only acceptable stack on a gas vehicle/ suv besides a pickup is after its got a turbo its okay to have a hood stack other than that its to much time, effort, money and just out right ridicules to have stacks on a suv but to his there own.

Haha, yeah, I was just curious of Blazerforum's input. It is quite ridiculous, but just another interesting idea for some originality. I, personally, with my funds/equipment/knowledge would just run what giovanni is planning on.

Right now I just have a Cherrybomb Glasspack replacing the stock muffler with a turn down after it with a Heineken minikeg as the tip. (Yes, I know it's aluminum, and yes, I know what you're thinking, "That's gotta' sound like ****." but actually, sounds pretty damn good. I gotta' get a sound clip of it.)
Plan on running a y-pipe after the cat then running dual flowmasters or some muffler that is a higher quality than a glasspack with either turnouts behind the rear tires OR just straight out the rear. I like the look of both.
