Stock Banks exhaust or after market?
Hi, I'm planning to put my Banks trubo kit on a 6.2l diesel but didn't get a muffler.
I was wondering what I should do, order the stock banks one? Get a mangnaflow or other aftermarket one?
I really like the sound of my truck with stock exhaust(not much exhaust noise at all) but wouldn't mind some low end rumbling.
I just don't wanna sound like a ricer or make my truck sound stupid.
Any suggestions would be great.

The 6.2L doesn't have a turbo so i'd definitely get a muffler, a long Magnaflow will flow extremely well and have a mellow tone at idle and cruising.

Well I'm putting a banks Turbo on it.

Oh I see, I was thinking just an exhaust kit, my bad. Yeah in that case you don't need a muffler, in fact if you have a turbo you're not legally required to run a muffler so I say go straight pipe, no backpressure. You're still required to run a cat or DPF though, but if there are no inspections you can get away with none. I say a 4" straight pipe exhaust is a good way to go.

SOunds good, well not cat's on the truck, just the mufflers so I should be good with straight.
