Yeah me neither. When I asked him I was kinda surprised. I thought they all came with a larger 4.8 V6 or a V8. Apparently back then tho some of them had 4.3's in them.
Whenever I do make up my mind and get it installed I'll be sure to take a video for ya.

 

Yeah, they still make work Silverados/sierras with the 4.3... My dad thinks I should sell the Blaze and buy a cheap truck like that, but I told him if I go full size, I at least want the 4.8.

 

Yeah...whenever I ditch my Blazer I'm going full size. I want a 2500 HD with the diesel though. I don't think I'd go full size with the 4.3 either. Not nearly powerful enough for me.
The diesels in the HD trucks are amazing engines though. They will go forever, and they haul.
