What Cherry bomb to get
I have a 97 S10 4.3. I want to put a Cherry bomb Turbo muffler on it, but I can't figure out what size (overall length, or a model number) to get. Any info would be great. I just had my Cat replaced, and I am having a shop install the new muffler, just wanted to shop for prices since they were quoting $100+ for the cherry bomb Turbo, and I keep hearing as low as $30ish. My exhaust pipe is 2.25 inch, and I am not having a tailpipe put on, just a down and out.

Longest you can get for the deepest sound...

I've got Cherry Bomb Glass Packs for my truck... had one on the truck and it fell off because I didn't put it on right lol. It had a nice deep rumble when I revved tho lol. I heard the Turbos are nice too

I wasn't a big fan of the glasspacks, but they're cheap and they do the job if your looking to make it that much louder. I'd personally go with a Flowmaster 40 series, quiet but deep and rich in sound.
Good for the money too, plenty on eBay.

40's aren't that quiet lmao. 50's are quiet and deep, I don't know about Blazers, but the guys with fullsize trucks call them DRONEmasters. They have the worst in-cab drone around apparently.
And a glasspack on a 5.7L TBI will sound different/better than on your 4.3.
Edelbrock has a nice sound as far as the 4.3 goes.
I know I know... it's an Astro but it has the 4.3 like the Blazer.

But if you're dead set on a Cherrybomb then get the longest turbo you can.

i went with a cherry turbo and went to 2.5 inch after the flange after the cat. sounds great just 1 foot of pipe muffler and turndown. might want to buy a muffler and bring it to the shop...cuts there markup out of cost

Yeah I am definitely buying one myself, cause their price was not very good. Just wanted to get a recommendation on size since I had no idea if it mattered. Thanks all.

I'd go with 2.5" pipe from the y-pipe, single 2.25" is a bit small, then go with the shortest turbo muffler. Why the shortest? Because they're very quiet mufflers and if you go with the longer ones, you won't be able to hear it, dumped or not. I had a Thrush Turbo on my old van, and with it dumped it sounded stock. Granted it was 2" in/out and had the stock cat, you'll still have the stock cat but the 2.5" piping will be louder and make a deeper sound. Trust me, 2.5" piping and a 14" case muffler, 2.5" in/out will have a very nice sound.
