y pipe
Hi Guys well found out today my small cat on the y pipe was toast ,am looking for advice or tips for replacing the y pipe as they don't sell the little cat by itself. thanks
the one midway down the truck? they should ive replaced them many times. not exactly a factory fit but you can just hack the old one out and weld in a new universal one if you have a welder.
but from experience, heat up the y-pipe nuts before taking them off unless they look in really good shape. ive never broken one heating it up yet

it is the one coming from the block, someone tol me it is studs holding it in and i best not break them cause they are a pain? It is too bad they don't sell a universal pre cat (found out the proper name), At least can't seem to find one yet any ides on how long of a job this will be?
