Default 2 inch Body spacers/blocks?

okay so, i am wanting to do a 2 inch body lift on my 96 blazer,i have sticks and sticks of 3 inch round industrial nylon,so i figured i would save some money and make my own spacers to go between the body and the frame.i have heard a few things and i am wondering what kind of other modifications am i going to have to make?? bumper? fan shroud? etc.

thanks

i just did a 2inch and with my lift i got 1/4 thick washers for the front skid plate to space it down, brackets to lower the oil filter "just some steel straps", you have to mod the lower fan shroud and i got metal tubes to space the top and bottom shroud cuz the top shroud stays in the same place, they said i might have to mod the air tube or air box but with some messing around and turning the clamps i got it to work but it is tight, the front bumper used 2inch by 2inch tubing to bring it up, you have to cut the plastic on the bumper so the tow hooks don't hit, the rear bump you just drill 2 new holes on each bracket below the old holes and that raises the bumper, also you have to trim the bottom of the bumper skin so it don't hit the frame. sounds like alot but the whole lift only took me and a friend about 2 hours. i wish i had a way to just send you the instructions that came with the lift. i don't think i forgot anything

it's easy, i didn't lower my skid plates?
there is a ground I had to lengthen on the passanger side of the firewall under the hood. my power distribution mount under the battery tray is tight, you might need to unbolt it.
some say the 4wd actuator needs to be relocated, mine has lots of room. DON'T FORGET the brake line mounts!!!! beside each shock tower to allow the brake lines to straighten and keep your abs box level.
Fuel filler i just got some longer hose (2" filler and 5/8" vent on an 01...)
also part of the front air deflector(in front of the rad) sits elow the front bumper, I broke mine lifting my body as I didn't remove the front bumper because I have no intentions on raising it. the center section of the rear bumper should be removed prior to lifting as the corner pieces will bind with it.
