2" rear shackles and torsion bar key 01 blazer

Default 2" rear shackles and torsion bar key 01 blazer

hi
got a 01 LS blazer, i ordered the 2" shackles and torsion bar key. right now i crank the torsion bar 1". here is my question if i use the torsion bar key what height should i raise it before i end up breaking the ball joints etc? i was thinking of 2 1/2 " at the front?

Going 2.5" will stress your front end and will ride like an unloaded dump truck.. The closer you stay to stock, the longer your ball joints & CV shafts will last so don't go nuts with it. Try 1.5" and see how it rides/looks/functions.

Thanks for the info. I did a 1" tb lift and Got an anligment down, waiting for my 2" shackles and tb key. Anyway went out 4wd today was pretty good day kept up with a rubicon. Got home and found out the cv boot is stuff is that the same as a cv shaft?

Finally got my torsion bar key and 2" shackles. Is it safe to go 2 inch in front for my 01 blazer?
