Default 2" suspension lift question....

Hey guys, a guy on Craigslist is selling a nice 2" rough country suspension lift in the box really cheap....however he says it does not have the front upper control arms in it. I looked on ebay and all the kits have new upper control arms. THe guy on craigslist says you don't need them, do I need the upper control arms or not? Thanks

you know what he problay did is that he used the upper arms himself and didnt want to use the rest of the kit becuase you cant buy them seperate.
i wouldnt waste you money on the kit if he doesnt have them. the realy only good thing about the kit is the uppercontrol arms.

Hey, that would be me. lol Honestly you dont need the control arms. There are tons of people on here that have lifted theirs without the control arms and dont have any problems. The reason I used the arms was because I cracked one of the stock ones and wanted something stronger. As you can see in my pic to the left that I have lifted it 9in and beat the crap out of it. The stock control arms worked fine for a few years. So you will be fine unless you beat on it a lot. Mine is used mainly for off-road as i have another vehicle. Mine has had all 4 tires of the ground numerous times and the control arms couldnt take the abuse. For the average person that just wants a small lift to take it down some two tracks and through some mud occasionally the stock arms would be perfectly fine. I would be willing to bet money on it.
