i have a 96 s10 blazer 2wd and wanted to know what would be the best option for a suspension lift. i saw that rough country has a 2inch suspension lift and fabtech has a 3inch suspension lift but that one uses spindles and you cant just put bigger tires on the factory rims. has anyone else seen anything that would work or have any experience with the mentions kits?

dont know if it makes a difference but its a 2 door

The 2wd Blazers are lifted using spindles, and the biggest tire you can put on the factory rim is a 30x9.5x15 unless you lift it. With a 2" or 3" lift, you should be able to fit 31's with no issues.

You can get lift coils. The only problem is you have to get new upper a frames so they extend out farther so you can get it aligned. Also the lift coils will give you a really bouncy/rough ride. I used to have in 3'' lift coils. Very stiff ride. Now you buy the rubber coil spacers that look like big donuts and put them on top and bottom of your coil and it will give you a solid 2'' lift. I did this for a while and it provided a much smoother ride and was aligned when I took all the shims out.

Well they will but your tires will be at a weird angle and you cannot get them aligned and they will wear down very fast. It will cause you to have a negative camber is what I'm getting at. And there is no way to fix it unless you get tubular upper a frames that go out wider offsetting this.

I've heard moog makes some I would look into that first. But you could by a frames from the 2wd s10 lifts. They are exactly the same. My whole lift is from an s10. Mine are fabtech but I think rough country makes some too
