Default Wat bout 4x4

What about rough country's 2in 4x4 lift and a 1.5in body lift on a 1991 4 door s10 blazer? would i need to make any modifications to the steering column or the tranny linkage? Could i run 32s?

Thanks Blazerkid01

speterson do you mean a arms? i had 2" lift coils and got my old 2wd aligned perfect. if i was you i would go with 2" dick cepeck coils 3" aim spindles (the fabtech ones are way more expensive) run shackles in the back and through on some 31's that is the same setup my old 2wd rcsb dime had. but if im not mistaken you may have to swap out your front brakes for s10 brakes to make the spindles fit.

here are the spinldes

this is a short arm kit. i belive it is what speterson was talking about it has new upper control arms to correct alignment. it also comes with everything you need to do the whole lift.

aim also sells kits with 3" springs for the short arm kits. and i have heard that as long as you have upper a arms you can run a 3" spring

a flip kit is when you weld a perch on your rear axle then mount your leaf springs on top of it, instead of being hung under your axle...so it gives you about 4 to 5 inches of lift (leaf spring pack + axle diameter + perch height)...so to match it up front you'd need the 3 inch lift spindles and some 2 inch coils - then 31's would be no problem at all

2INCH lift coils can be aligned. My 3inch lift coils with stock a frames will not work. Those offset uppercontrol shafts are the way to fix it. Even with tubular a arms they were not even close to being aligned. Flip kit is the way to go in the back. I did that and put a 2inch block in and cleared 35''s easy. So my 33''s now have plenty of room to flex. 2WD theres not much lifting you can do in the front without doing a lot of fabrication. Basically coil spacers or lift coils and spindles is really all you can do.
If you do a axle flip kit be sure to weld the perch that the block or leaf spring sits on ontop of your axle. Some people just u bolt them tight but if your doing any offroading it's possible for the axle to twist forward or backwards and snap your driveshaft. It happened to a buddy of mine and it was no fun. So I made sure I arched welded mine on the axle and then ubolted them tight
