Default actuator relocate

ok, i have the lift in but there is still one problem, i could not find a good place to mount the 4x actuator that used to be under the battery.
i tried on pass side of frame just between idler arm and bumper but cable seems to short by just enough to not work.

any ides, i tried some looking over the last couple of days but no dice.
i had to throw her back on the road being a daily driver and all, but i want the 4x back.

thanks for any help you can give.

Not sure what lift you installed, but when I installed my 2" body lift, the instructions just said to move the actuator down 2" from where it was mounted. I ended not needing to do it, though. I had enough slack in the cable going to the front diff and the vacuum line.

what about fab'n up a bracket to attach to the frame itself near the bottom to give it the slack needed - or moving it closer to the firewall area ?

i was wondering if i need to worry about heat if i get to close to the engine, seeing as how the stupid thing has that rubber diaphragm on it.
