Default Autozone Shackles

I was in autozone, and they had "lowering shackles" but couldnt they be used as lift shackles as well?

Those shackles are so unsafe. Most of them are just to pieces of 1/4 inch steel and u bolt it on in place of the stock shackle. I seen a Colorado have them on and he was bragging about his lift he did for $50. Next thing you know were offroading and the shackle had so much stress on it the cheap POS snapped. It sent the leaf pack clanking and smacking all over the place. If I were you I'd just spend the money and get a legit shackle to lift your truck.
