Would it all align properly still? Obviously the joints would be at an odd angle when flipped and at sock height, no more odd of an angle I would think though on a stock non-flipped joints setup with the bars cranked.
I wouldn't do it. The way I see it is the flip just keeps the ball joint so it can stay straighter up and down and angled less. If this is correct then doing the flip on a stock height blazer would do the opposite and cause more wear on the ball joint.

okay thanks

that was sort of my thoughts too

it's back together now (well, the right side anyway, gotta get new bushings pressed into the upper control arm tomorrow for the left side...) and the ball joints are just going on as stock

Josh, incorrect, it spreads the control arms actually raising the the upper and lessening the the angle when you crank the tbars. I have done the flip and have 1 inch spacers between the the arm and ball joint. By doing this there is less cranking of the tbar also

Exactly, but if I read correctly, they didn't plan on a lift right away so would be a stock height blazer with the ball joint flip.

Not a problem, I figured you just missed that part

I might be doing this to mine in the near future if I can find a cheap set of the spacers. I'll only be going the 1.5 inches lift in the front but if this helps save on ball joints it sounds good to me
