Default bastard pack question

I got leafs today for $20 two packs perfect match when we picked up my dads engine. My question is how many leafs do you usually add to the existing leaf spring pack I already cut the leafs to support the main one I was going to add one leaf to each side but how many leafs do you normally add.

I added one leaf to each pack. I took the main leaf and cut the eyelets off then slipped it into the pack i was going to use. I think one is enough...i had to take my shackles in a little to absorb the added lift.
I did a write up if you search.

Yea I seen that awhile ago how much lift did it add because I got the new packs and the eyelets already cut off it was from a full size pickup but they are the same width so I just trimmed them down.
